Our little Enzo is growing up! He's still pretty small, but we can definatly see some changes since last month.
This is a lot of fun for everyone involved. He loves to play patty-cake with Grandma (so she says, I haven't had the same success.) He likes to sing along with Mommy ("rawrrarrarrrarr") and he LOVES to stand up with support from whoever is holding him--no baby cradling for this guy unless you've got a bottle!
Also his diapers have become more regular, which has Mom, Dad and Grandma feeling much better about supplementing his feedings with formula.
He's a very vocal little guy, and I think his lungs have grown a bit over the past month. If he's upset, he will let you know it in no uncertain terms! But he's still a pretty patient little guy, as far as babies go. He handled his immunization shots like a champ, and went right to sleep as soon as we were done and he was safe in his carseat.
Also he can be distracted pretty easily. A walk around the house, his favorite pacifier, or a few silly faces from Daddy are usually enough to keep him quiet while we wait for a bottle to warm up.
He's still a mystery when it comes to diaper changes, though. Sometimes he's completely outraged at being undressed and sometimes it's exactly what he needed and he's just glad we finally thought of it.
In other news, the doctors office measured him to be 10 lbs 3 oz and 22 in. long. He's outgrown his little bassinet, and is now in the Pack-n-Play next to our bed. Although we did finally buy a crib so we can be ready for his next transition!
