hello 2010

I keep thinking about updating this blog. but what to write about?

Here's an average day for me:
6:30ish - Bill and I get up and get ready for work. Usually Bill takes the dog out because I take longer. But I take the dog out if he's running late. We both get on the George Bush Turnpike about a block from our apartment and drive for about a half hour in opposite directions to get to work.

8ish - I get to work. I've been working there for over 2 years now. There are 8 of us in the office. And things that annoyed us about each other a year ago are really driving us crazy. Okay, maybe its just driving me crazy. I'm sort of passively looking for other employment options. But I tell myself that there are a lot of people in worse situations. i.e. my sister might make more money and has an IRA but she also has to wear a uniform every day and works with high schoolers.

12ish - lunch. Bill and I generally text each other a little I love you! while we're at work. It brightens my day.

5ish - drive home! I usually stop by the grocery store to get whatever i'll need for dinner. Then I get home a little before Bill so I take the dog out. I start dinner. When Bill gets home, we look for a movie to watch on Netflix. And we eat dinner watching the movie. If we eat at the table, and watch a movie after dinner, I'll fall asleep before the end.

..See? The thing is, though, that we have a lot of fun. And Bill and i love to be together. We also have other newlywed friends that we get together with often. Married life has been great so far. We've also joined a gym so that our cushy married life doesn't start to show too much on our waistlines!

And for next year...we've been saving up to go to Italy in September!! We love talking about our dream vacation and adding money to our Italy fund.

We had a great holiday. We were able to spend time with both of our families. And on New Years Eve we went to a Stars hockey game with some of our single friends and then to a fondue party with some of our married friends. And today, Im enjoying wearing my pajamas at noon!!
