This kid is into EVERYTHING!
Turns out we didn't do a really good job of baby-proofing the house before he was born.
Actually I'm pretty sure the term "baby-proofing" is a joke.
And I think an underlying problem is that the kid truly believes that he owns the place and everything in it belongs to him. Especially the cell phones, the laptop, power cords, plants, and anything with velcro.
This past month has been a busy one for our little guy. He went for his first airplane ride. On an airplane!
And he was a total champ on both flights. We went to go visit Enzo's great-grandmother for her 93rd birthday--how cool is that! Plus he got to meet a lot of great-aunts, great-uncles, 2nd cousins and 1st cousins once removed. Fancy!
We also were able to spend more time this month playing in the pool at Bill's parent's house. He's definately warmed up to the pool idea. He's gotten pretty brave about splashing, putting his face in the water, kicking his feet, etc.
Which is great, but not all of the above translate so well to the bathtub.
Our little man has so much energy and he just wants to explore, explore, explore. He loves it when Mom or Dad or Grandma gets down on the floor with him to go on a tour of the house. He thinks it's hilarious to see us crawl like him. He also loves when we help him walk across the living room or down the hall. And of course, swinging through the air is still much appreciated too.
He's still practicing his sounds. He seems to spend a few days concentrating on one syllable; Da, Ba, Thhhp, Ffffp. Still no Mama, though.
This kid. He's a handful. But he's so stinkin' cute!
