It's day 34 of 100+ degree heat here in Dallas. We've broken several heat records. We are officially in a drought. There have been several power outages because of the strain of all of that air conditioning. (Once at the house, once at Bill's office.) We're being asked to cut back on our electricity and water usage.
But today they fixed the air conditioner at work so it has been a happy, happy day for me!!
P.S. Do you know what this graphic represents? We are totally on track to beat the 1980 record of 42 days in a row above 100 degrees!! There's a rumor that if we beat the record, we all get t-shirts!! I know you're jealous.
