So Proud

We watch a lot of Food shows. We don't have cable or sattelite, so we don't really get to see a lot of FOOD Network--and maybe that's a good thing, because we would watch it ALL the time. But we catch a few things on basic TV and Hulu.com. We've been following Chef Gordon Ramsay's new show, "Master Chef."

One episode featured a challenge where everyone had to cook one egg. And the best egg dish won the challenge. One shot showed a contestant poaching an egg--which was a revelation to Bill who had never seen it done before, only heard about it.

Fast forward to Sunday breakfast. Featuring leftover salmon filets, an orange juice-banana smootie, and

Bill's first poached egg.

He did a beautiful job, and from now on, he can do all of the poaching because I've never managed to do it myself!
