At our little Mister's 6 month checkup today we learned that he is 18 lbs, 26" and practically perfect in every way--at least, that's what I got out of it!
He's become quite proficient at sitting over the last month. And now he can even maneuver himself from a seated position onto his tummy. From there he can scoot himself around in a circle on his tummy by arching his back and moving his legs. I think crawling may be coming soon and I'm a little nervous that I won't be ready!
With this increased mobility, it is such a bore to sit still! This has made diaper changes much more of a challenge. Enzo's always so eager to help out by twisting himself in any way necessary to help Mommy grab the diapers and wipes on his changing table. Thanks for that, buddy! But I can usually get him back into position with a rousing performance of The ABCs or Raindrops. Or blowing raspberries on his tummy. You know, whatever works.
Enzo loves singing and he's become something of a noisemaker in his own right. Of course, this is all music to Mommy's ears, but his enthusiasm does occasionally get us a few stares in restaurants or Sunday School.
Or maybe because he's just so ridiculously good-looking.
He's becoming more of a boy and less of a baby every day. It's amazing to watch that transformation. And his face is so expressive, sometimes I forget that he can't talk. But he's definitely adding sounds to his repertoire. Which has led to this newest trick:

Such a happy little guy! I love the videos. Especially the first one of him singing; the end is too precious with his look of, "what are you doing Mom?" And your laugh is really cute too Mal. :)
Oh GOODNESS I LOVE HIM! So cute so cute! I can't believe he is thinking about crawling. That is just nonsense! He was just born! Love the pictures and videos.. keep them comin!
