Happy 3 Months, Baby

This past month has been all about the sleep.

Our little guy slept through the night for the first time two weeks ago, and although it hasn't been consistent, we can see the light at the end of the tunnel as it were as far as getting some of our sleep back.

We bought a crib last month when he outgrew his bassinet and moved into the pack-n-play. Although I haven't tried to let him sleep in the crib, we've played in the crib and..I think he likes it! He loves his new mobile, but I think he'll always be fond of his BFF the ceiling fan.

This month we also completed our foursome of cousins with the birth of Michael and Jenni's little girl, Harlow. Also, in our little group from the singles ward that all got married in the same summer and now live in the same ward, now we've each also had a baby, culminating in the birth of the Dension's little girl, Jocelyn.

Aside from Enzo's cousin Marshall, everyone else we know had little girls! Sorry, kiddo! But don't you worry, it will be a good thing eventually I'm sure.

Despite being surrounded by girls age-wise, our little Enzo is shaping up to be a real "man's man." He is nothing but smiles for his Grandpa Jim and Grandpa Richard. And he's definitely Daddy's little buddy--especially at naptime.

Plus, this kid can pass gas with the best of them.

We've had so much fun this past month as Enzo's discovered his hands, his feet, and his voice! I think he's even starting to recognize that handsome little guy in the mirror. He likes when we help him go from sitting to standing and back again. And he's just barely started to be able to roll himself over.

We love to sing together. He likes to hear repeating sounds. (Momomomom!) And he has so much fun when we help him with the hand motions to songs or just clapping his hands together.

We are one happy little family.

I love hearing about your little life Mal. I'm so glad it rocks. You sound so happy.

PLUS General Coference is next weekend. It always makes me think of you and how we sat in that hot tub. (Why did we not sit in that hot tub more? I think that's one of two times I ever went in it. What a nut.)
