Regression

Isn't that what it's called when you go back to doing something that you thought you had quit?

I am addicted to vacation planning!
I am addicted to looking at pictures of hotels. To reading guest reviews. I am addicted to the travel forums on TripAdvisor.com. I am addicted to Rick Steves.

I really thought I would get it out of my system once we took our BIG TRIP to Italy.

But here's the thing, our enthusiasm has encouraged three other couples that we know to go to Itay this spring! How cool is that! And while they are all in different stages in their lives and have had different past experiences with travelling, they've asked us for our recommendations and advice.

But I just want to plan their vacations for them! It's so hard not to!

And our tentative trip to Utah for the BYU graduation? I've researched just about every bed and breakfast from Dallas to Wichita to Denver to Salt Lake. And rest stop. And notable restaurants.

Like Pops off of Route 66 outside of Oklahoma City. You'd stop there if you were driving past, wouldn't you!

I mean, Judge Wapner Root Beer?? Talk about kitchy.

But that's just if we go north! If we go west, we pass through Amarillo and you know what's in Amarillo:

Duh! The Big Texan--home of the 72oz steak dinner challenge! Wowza!
