"to those about to rock..we salute you!"

You all know how much I love karaoke, right? Back when I was still in the singles ward, some friends discovered this awesome little asian karaoke place in Dallas. Unlike American karaoke bars, where you sing in front of whoever happens to be hanging around, this place has little rooms with big flatscreen tvs on the walls and multiple microphones so more than one person can sing at a time and you can move around the room and still see the words. It's a hoot! And my sister finally put her trust in me and requested that we celebrate her birthday there.

Some people were hesitant.

But we all ended up singing! And most of the time, everyone sang along even if they didn't have a mic. And I for one, had a blast!
Bill and I did Bohemian Rhapsody, Stairway to Heaven and Don't Stop Believin'.

Natalie's boyfriend, Eddie, was cracking us up with a terrible impression of Enrique Iglesias, singing Hero.

Mom and I killed (and I mean painfully) Midnight Train to Georgia and To Sir With Love.

Tessa did some Taylor Swift and some boy band hits...and Kei$ha's Tik Tok. Awesome!

Dad even got in a little Elvis and Johnny Cash. And all of the boys joined in for The Gambler.

Seriously, it was a blast. Family Karaoke on Goodnight Ln. Highly reccommend.
